EaseCationOur history
Dig Battle, Walls, Rune Legend. Over the years, new games have filled the lobby, while players have brought maps, tournaments and creations of their own.
2014
On January 14, 2014, JQSking founded the FunCraft survival server. Players joined a small Minecraft PE world that would become the starting point of EaseCation.
That summer brought Dig Battle and Falling Parkour, followed by Walls. On November 8, an independent mini-game lobby opened: players could meet in one place and choose their next game.

2015–2016
On June 18, 2015, boybook took over as server owner. EaseCation marks this day as its founding, with FunCraft’s earlier years forming its roots.
More games joined the lobby, and the team began rewriting the server on Nukkit to support its development. On June 23, 2016, FunCraft officially became EaseCation.
The Walls lobby received an update that July. As recorded on the Wiki, that version remains in use today, a familiar meeting place carried forward from the early years.

2017–2018
Sky Wars and Crystal Wars gave players new reasons to gather. On December 20, 2017, EaseCation joined Minecraft China Edition; on February 15, 2018, it welcomed its five-millionth registered player.
Players competed in the Starfire Cup, built for the Luban Cup and contributed writing, maps and game resources. The homeland system gave their buildings a place to stay. That summer, the CC Live Pixel Cup brought another stage for Minecraft builders.

2019–2021
The player service center opened in 2019. Murder Mystery arrived in 2020, followed by the community site and Super Walls in 2021. Alongside new games, players gained more ways to ask questions and reach the team.
On July 30, 2021, EaseCation attended ChinaJoy, its first offline event. Players could visit the booth, try the games and meet the team in person. Super Walls also reached the NeXT tournament stage that year, and EaseCation received the annual mini-game server award in November.

2022–2023
In 2022, EaseTree teams earned energy together, with completed in-game trees leading to real saplings being planted. The creator program launched that summer, and peak concurrent players passed 17,000 in August.
Rune Legend launched on January 15, 2023. Teams of four could battle, solve puzzles and uncover an original story, with new chapters expanding the adventure throughout the year.
On July 15, the EaseCation Wiki opened to players, following contributions from staff and community members. Guides, game knowledge and old screenshots found a shared home. In September, EC received the annual best server award.

2024–2026
PC access opened on January 23, 2024. Replays let players revisit their matches, while MyEC and upgraded tickets brought account and support services together. Zombie Escape joined the game lineup that October.
Rune Legend continued with new chapters and the GHOSAREA soundtrack in 2025. Players also met EC again at IJOY, bringing another summer of in-person games and activities.
After testing and a public beta, EaseCation Java Edition officially launched on July 31, 2026. The community that began on Minecraft PE welcomed players from another edition.
