About

Yue Peng (py), Director of Platform Engineering and Internal Operations Lead at EaseCation, joined the team in 2018 and is a core member with longstanding involvement in server development and organizational growth. He leads web platform engineering and shared infrastructure development, oversees internal affairs and the operation of the part-time team, and participates in company-wide management. Over the years, he has taken on key responsibilities in technology, internal management, and community operations, helping the team's organizational capabilities grow alongside its work. In engineering, Yue Peng is responsible for the overall architecture, application development, and cloud operations of EaseCation's web platform. After taking over its early services beyond the game, he continued to expand the platform, designing and maintaining infrastructure shared across player services, internal office applications, and team collaboration. His work spans requirements, system design, development, delivery, and ongoing operations, including identity systems, deployments, releases, and cloud resource management, providing a consistent and reliable technical foundation for the organization's services. In organizational management, he is an important contributor to EaseCation's internal organization and management practices. He helped establish the Player Services & Game Administration Department and contributed to its early team formation, division of responsibilities, and operations. He now oversees the part-time team's daily work and internal affairs, coordinating work assignments, collaboration across departments, and handoffs to turn company plans into concrete action. Drawing on years of operational experience and engineering work, he also leads the development of internal office automation applications tailored to the team's actual needs, bringing approvals, handoffs, and collaboration into everyday management and supporting the organization's continued operation and growth. In community culture, he has long helped establish and develop community and entertainment activities, contributing to event organization, content planning, and production coordination so players can connect, create, and share their work. He directed the 2022, 2024, and 2025 Potato Spring Galas, bringing players' music, films, and in-game performances together into annual community productions. The 2025 gala was also an important part of EaseCation's tenth-anniversary celebrations. These efforts continue his longstanding involvement in community operations and give more players opportunities to contribute to EC's content and culture.
