A short history of the server.
EaseCation began as FunCraft, moved from survival into mini-games, and grew into a long-running Minecraft network. The name changed, the platform expanded and the community kept the server moving forward.
Key milestones
- 2014 FunCraft begins as a survival server and turns toward mini-games.
- 2015 EaseCation is founded on May 29.
- 2016 FunCraft becomes EaseCation; the lobby, rankings and core systems take shape.
- 2017 After a data loss, the server is rebuilt and reopens with the community.
- 2018 EaseCation enters Minecraft China Edition, reaches 5 million registered players and launches Homeland.
- 2020 The international server reopens; Murder Mystery becomes a new player favorite.
- 2021 The community launches, EaseCation attends ChinaJoy and is named Minecraft Server of the Year.
- 2022 EaseTree turns in-game activity into real-world tree planting; peak online passes 17,000.
- 2023 Rune Legend launches, the Wiki opens to players and EaseCation wins Server of the Year again.
- 2024 PC support, replays, moderation and player services expand; Zombie Escape arrives.
- 2025—26 The tenth anniversary, new Rune Legend chapters, Disaster Game, The Pit and MyEC feedback keep the work moving.
